The hub of all NASA tracking activities, Goddard is also responsible for
the development of unmanned sounding rockets and research in space and
earth sciences (including NASA’s Mission to Planet Earth). Through
interactive educational exhibits, visitors explore Goddard Space Flight
Center with a focus on 1958 to the present. Collections include
space-flight artifacts and photographs. Model-rocket launchings, a gift
shop, and special group tours are available.
